I am a Visual Basic/VBA/MS Access application developer, experienced with all phases of development from design through code development to roll-out. Most of my projects have been database intensive. I also have considerable experience with upgrading existing projects and importing/exporting data from most commonly used database environments. My skills include VB 6, Visual Studio, VB.Net, ASP, ASP.NET, MS Access, and MS Office development.
I am ready and eager for fulltime to 3/4-time permanent or contract work in Sonoma County, California. I am also set up for telecommute projects.

Programming:Twelve years programming experience. Nine years full-time experience with Visual Basic and VBA development, including GUI design, .Net, ActiveX, DLL, Windows API, hardware drivers. Also trained in C++, Java, and UML.

Database Development: Ten years relational database development experience. Ability to design and implement complex database applications from start to finish. Experience setting up MS SQL Server and Oracle databases. Advanced MS Access programming.

Enabled this system to get information from a pre-existing customer billing database via ODBC. Created application to track production items and warranties, making data accessible to the RMA system. Created a shipping and receiving application with barcode scanning and integrated it with production and RMA databases. Implemented a demo-tracking system.
